Eligibility to use services

You represent that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction to form a binding contract or that you have valid authorization to act on behalf of a business.

You agree to use the site and services for lawful purposes only and not to engage in activity that contravenes applicable laws or regulations.

LegalTopBiz provides services from Malaysia and may be subject to local limitations. Availability of certain services may be restricted by local regulation or export controls.

Account responsibilities

User conduct and rules

User-submitted content

Paid services and fees

Certain services offered by LegalTopBiz are subject to fees. Fees and billing terms will be set out in engagement letters or service agreements and are binding once accepted by the client.

Pricing is based on the scope of work, complexity, and applicable rates. Quotes provided are valid for the period stated and may be adjusted if the scope changes.

Payments are due as specified in the invoice or engagement agreement. Accepted payment methods and billing cycles will be specified in the relevant agreement.

Subscription services, if offered, will be governed by specific terms describing renewal, billing frequency and cancellation procedures.

Refunds and credits will be handled in accordance with the specific terms of the engagement and applicable consumer protection laws. Refunds are assessed case-by-case based on services performed.

Clients may cancel services in accordance with the notice and termination provisions in their agreement. Cancellation may not relieve the obligation to pay fees for work already performed.

Clients are responsible for applicable taxes, duties or government charges associated with purchased services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

LegalTopBiz may update pricing to reflect changes in costs or law. Notice of material price changes will be provided in advance when feasible.

Failure to pay invoices may result in suspension of services, interest charges, or collection actions as provided in the engagement agreement and applicable law.

Disclaimer

Limitation of liability

Termination of services

Either party may terminate an engagement in accordance with the termination provisions of the applicable agreement. Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations.

Upon termination, outstanding fees and expenses remain payable. Certain deliverables or data may be returned or retained consistent with the agreement and legal obligations.

Privacy and data protection

Our collection and processing of personal data is described in the LegalTopBiz privacy policy. By using the site and engaging services you consent to the processing described in that policy and in any client-specific data processing terms.

Communications and notices

Changes to terms

These terms and any disputes arising from them will be governed by the laws applicable to LegalTopBiz activities in Malaysia, except where parties agree otherwise in a specific engagement agreement.

Dispute resolution

Parties will seek to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may proceed to mediation or to the competent courts as agreed in the applicable engagement terms.
